Spring is officially here although it's been in the 80's and 90's already, this week is closer to normal with high's in the 70's and lows in the 50's. We have been busy today mowing and taking care of the goats. We got all the adults wormed and their feet trimmed. It's been so wet lately that we've had to trim them more often. They and their little ones are all doing very well. Babies are growing, eating, playing and sleeping. :)
Last week we were able to get the raised bed gardens planted. We have green beans, squash, zucchinni, onions, green onions, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, lots of lettuce, radishes, bok choy, carrots, celery, many different kinds of herbs and lots of flowers planted. Saturday we finished our potato tower and asparagus beds and got those planted. All we have left is the corn (a little late) and some more onion sets and maybe some pinto beans.
Here are some pictures I took this evening... enjoy!
Russell Ranch is located in beautiful NE Oklahoma, just a few miles from the Illinois river in Green Country. There are lovely rolling hills, lots of wonderful lakes and rivers, and forests full of wildlife.
